Sign Up Process
The process for signing up to Curaleaf is a little more complicated than it needs to be, and may pose some challenges for people who are not computer savvy. While the information needed by Curaleaf is in line with other private medical cannabis clinics, the way that it is laid out is less instinctive.
Navigating through the multiple steps may feel overwhelming, particularly for those unfamiliar with online forms. The detailed questions asked about medical history, GP contact information, and personal details are necessary but could be presented in a more user-friendly manner. Despite these hurdles, completing the signup process is a crucial step to accessing personalised medical cannabis treatment, and as long as you have some skills/experience with using the internet then you should be just fine.
A more streamlined and simplified form design, coupled with clear instructions, could significantly improve the experience.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a medical cannabis prescription, patients must have first tried two licenced medicines, treatments or therapies for their condition, as prescribed by a GP or healthcare professional.

User Reviews
I dont know yet, I was first told that I am eligible, and then got told a week later I am declined without any reason given, i just get redirected back to the letter that says I got passed
They don’t fully seem to know what is going on themselves and can be quite slow at getting back to you
The website is easy enough to use ,however you get completely locked out if the decide to decline you so you can no longer use you’re own account
I’m still I the dark as to what’s going on, on the chat service the advisor has made out it’s as if the second decision to decline me is possibly a mistake because of medical history that i gave them twice about a week ago and hasn’t been looked at yet , I still don’t know 🤷♂️
Again I still don’t know what’s going on yet, or if I am actually fully approved or declined, all I know is I payed my consultation fee and have been getting all sorts of answers since
The waits are actually quite long and the results are more than disappointing
Also doesn’t apply right now as I can’t get that far at the minute
I think they’re OK in this section, but who knows
The first appointment never actually happened, which was frustrating. I’d booked it, planned around it, and then nothing. But once I did get seen, the doctor was great. Took the time to listen and made me feel like my input actually mattered.
Things started badly with the missed appointment. I raised my concerns and expected it to be a bit of a battle, but Danielle from customer support got in touch the very next day and sorted everything out quickly. That changed the whole feel of the experience.
Booking was simple, though something clearly went wrong in the system the first time. Second time round it worked as expected, no problems.
Once I raised the issue, it got dealt with quick. Didn’t have to send ten emails or sit on hold forever. That alone puts them ahead of a few other places I’ve tried.
No dodgy charges or sneaky extras. Didn’t get billed for the appointment that didn’t happen either, which is how it should be.
Not too bad. The first one didn’t happen, but the second was booked fast. Didn’t feel like I was waiting forever.
Too early to say long term, but they sorted the first problem fast. Makes me think they’d sort future stuff too if it came up.
Been a patient for more than a year, all the clinicians are super welcoming and patient
Superb
Really easy to use website
One of the big plusses of my time with curaleaf is how great the communication is with both drs and staff
No issues for appointments or med delivery
