Clinic FAQs

Yes, MyAccess Clinics operates within the legal framework of the UK, where medical cannabis is legal. It can be prescribed as a ‘Special’ under the guidance of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), by doctors listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register.

At MyAccess Clinics, individuals may qualify for medical cannabis prescriptions for conditions like chronic pain, gastrointestinal issues, mental health conditions, and sleep disorders. However, to be eligible, you must have attempted at least two other treatments without success. Although a referral from a GP or an NHS specialist can be beneficial, it’s not mandatory. Following an initial consultation, patients are required to have follow-up appointments for optimal treatment planning and regular reviews of the prescription

I was blackmailed by the doctor who refused to release my medication until I agreed to purchase and extremely expensive bottle of oil which I did not want. this is disgusting.

They missed an entire months prescription, when I tried to chase them up on it they said it was to late and there was nothing I could do about it (it was 1 week after the prescription was due!)

pretty rude, demanding, and not very good at listening. I mean, who does this sort of job if they don’t know how to listen to a patient? just choose another clinic is all i have to say!

Charging £50 for a follow-up consultation every three months seems excessive, especially when the prescribed medication is both overpriced shit quality. Its been the classic “amazing until you are fully signed up, then fucking terrible”

The doctors are useless, have shown zero urgency in trying to sort out me getting replacement med options when the originally prescribed strains ran out. It honestly just feels like they only care about the money at this point. Im leaving, you shouldn’t sign up.
