My experience with the medical care provided at Leva, particularly during my appointment with one of the doctors, was disappointing. His approach was both dismissive and condescending.
He didn’t seem to want to listen to what i had to say, and had already made up his mind about what was wrong with me, what med he was going to prescribe, and how much i should be buying before we even started speaking.
I will leva another go, everyone has thier bad days i guess, but im not interested in seeing that particular doctor again.
The clinic’s administrative and patient care team weren’t bad at all. They showed compassion, understanding, and professionalism when I transferred to Leva, which was good. However, there has been a decline in the months since signing up. The initial interaction set a high standard and gave me a comforting start with the clinic, but it might not reflect the overall experience.
Browsing through Leva’s website was a breeze. The layout is super intuitive, making it a piece of cake to find all the info you need, book appointments, and access resources. This part of their service was smooth and hassle-free.
Haven’t actually set foot in the clinic, so I’m shooting in the dark here. From what I gather online and from others, it sounds like they’ve got a decent setup. So, I’m landing on a middle-of-the-road rating here.
Now, back to the downers. Communication was a real issue. Talking to this one doctor who will remain nameless felt like trying to chat with a brick wall. A two-way convo didn’t seem to be on the cards, which was pretty frustrating.
The whole money talk was a bit murky. Some of the costs and billing details were clear, but there were a few too many gray areas for my liking. They could definitely do with being a bit more upfront about all that.
Waiting for my inial consult wasn’t too bad, to be fair. It wasn’t super speedy, but it wasn’t a nightmare wait either. Pretty much what you’d expect from a clinic, I reckon.
Follow-up care was a bit of a ghost town. Felt like once the appointment was done, that was it – out of sight, out of mind. Definitely think they could do more to check in and keep the care going.
I have been dealing with issues managing my pain (chronic neck and back) for years, and it was only after my daughter recommended that i look into medical cannabis that i found Leva.
The difference to my quality of life is pretty crazy. I would say that my pain has dropped to level around 75% less than before, and i have severely reduced the amount of pharmaceutical pain medication that i need.
I stopped smoking weed recreationally after my accident on the recommendations of my doctor at the time who prescribed me heavy opioids. They made me feel shite, so i’m really thankful that medical cannabis is now an option for me.
I would definitely recommend Leva to anyone who is need of pain management, the two doctors i have dealt with so far have been great.
My only complaint is that it can be hard to get through on the phone, and they can take a little while to call back.
I dont think it’s the cheapest option but after reading reviews and looking at the pricing of other clinics i think that what i am paying is fair, and they are above board with all costs before charging.
The appointments can usually be booked for the next day, and the medicine arrives within the same week normally.
Before starting with Leva, I was with another clinic (which will remain nameless but you might guess it from the terrible reviews) that was just rubbish. No accountability, no customer service, drs that dont seem to care.
Leva is the complete opposite. My doctor, Dr Bhaskar, is maybe the best clinician I have ever worked with. He is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to me in really easy to understand language. I have a couple of health issues, and he is really aware of making sure everything i have been prescribed will work positively.
Very quick to reply to either missed calls or emails, and always lovely to interact with
Not the cheapest option but pretty standard from my research and worth the money.
I have had to wait a day or two for appointments at times, and my prescriptions have been late once or twice, but only by a few days.
Just had my three month review and was satisfied with the level of care and attention showed.
