Clinic FAQs
Yes, MyAccess Clinics operates within the legal framework of the UK, where medical cannabis is legal. It can be prescribed as a ‘Special’ under the guidance of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), by doctors listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register.
At MyAccess Clinics, individuals may qualify for medical cannabis prescriptions for conditions like chronic pain, gastrointestinal issues, mental health conditions, and sleep disorders. However, to be eligible, you must have attempted at least two other treatments without success. Although a referral from a GP or an NHS specialist can be beneficial, it’s not mandatory. Following an initial consultation, patients are required to have follow-up appointments for optimal treatment planning and regular reviews of the prescription
User Reviews
Had my initial appointment a few weeks ago, I didn’t feel like the doctor really cared to be honest. The appointment was over before I knew it and they barely asked me anything about how I was actually feeling or what I’d tried before. Just kind of nodded then gave me a prescription. It felt like they were just rushing to get to the next person. Not what I was hoping for at all,
Staff weren’t very helpful when I called.
The website worked alright for booking, but it was a bit clunky. Took me a couple tries to upload my documents, but I managed in the end.
I sent a couple emails and got no reply so had to call instead
I saw the prices on the site but still very expensive compared to what I used to pay before I got medical
Booking the first appointment didn’t take too long, but after that the wait for my meds was ages.
havent had my follow up appojntment yet – hopefully much better than the first one with a different dr
Dr Bailey has been amazing for the last 6 months I have been with myaccess clinics. Very kind and helpful, and the prescribed flower I have been trying has all been 10/10
No issues my end, all the staff seem well trained
easy to use and easy to make my orders
really nothiing for me to complain about
I have been able to get a consultation time on the day I needed each time I have had one
As above, Dr Bailey is great and always takes his time with me
The drs obviously care, and try their best, but the delays in deliveries and missed appointments is really surprising for the money we pay
No local number or office, impossible to get through to. MAC need to pick up their game or I am switching to another clinic
Clunky, slow, not great at all
Again, the drs try really hard but the whole thing is let down by the aftercare and slowness
So long for deliveries. I even had one of the pharmacists say that if the dr puts the prescription through on Monday, they wont receive until around tues or wednesday
